This permanent full-time Human Resources Business Partner supports internal and external recruitment for the Waterloo Regional Police Service. The position provides recruitment advice, develops sourcing strategies, administers selection processes, and delivers onboarding. It also builds diverse talent pipelines through skilled networks, post-secondary partnerships, recruitment events, and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate full lifecycle recruitment from intake meetings through onboarding
Source active and passive candidates across multiple channels
Advise hiring managers on selection criteria and interview techniques
Conduct background checks, references,



offers, and applicant notifications
Lead outreach strategies, recruitment events, and new employee orientation
Requirements: University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
At least four years in recruitment or talent acquisition
Active sourcing and Boolean search experience
Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel and PowerPoint
Valid Class G licence and ability to meet security clearance
