This temporary 0.50 FTE assignment teaches Foundations of Math 11 and Accounting 11 through NIDES. Teachers support province-wide students while working in office at a Comox Valley school. The assignment ends June 30, 2027, or when the incumbent returns. The position includes online curriculum development, blended instruction, tutorials, and collaboration with students, colleagues, and parents.
Key Responsibilities: Teach Foundations of Math 11 and Accounting 11

Develop and maintain advanced online curriculum

Support students online and in person
Requirements: Training, certification, or direct online learning teaching experience
Math and accounting teaching experience at secondary school level
Experience, training, or education in adult education
Advanced learning management system classroom maintenance skills
Ability to support course adaptations and I.E.P.s
