As a Laboratory Analyst, you will perform production chemistry in ALS’s analytical laboratory. Your work includes sample weighing, chemical analysis, dilutions, solution preparation, and QA/QC documentation. You will help maintain quality, output, and adherence to the ALS Health and Safety Program while meeting turnaround time commitments.
Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain analytical balances according to ALS procedures
Weigh and inspect pulp samples for accuracy and homogeneity
Perform carbon, sulphur, or aqua regia analysis
Complete dilutions, solution preparation, logs, and equipment records
Report quality and safety concerns to the Laboratory Manager
Requirements: Recognized Science diploma or degree required
Analytical Chemistry preferred
Strong Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
Detail-oriented commitment to safety and quality
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
