Position Overview The Senior Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst plays a key role in identifying, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity threats affecting systems and data. As a senior individual contributor, this role provides advanced threat detection, incident response, security monitoring, and forensic analysis expertise. The analyst may also mentor junior team members and contribute to improving SOC tools, processes, and operational effectiveness. Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience in information security, including hands-on experience working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC).
- Practical experience with cybersecurity incident response processes and breach investigations.




- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
- Experience building and securing infrastructure as code using tools such as CloudFormation, GitLab, or Terraform.
- Solid experience with security monitoring technologies, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail.
- One or more relevant security certifications, such as OSCP, LPT, GWAPT, GWEB, GCIA, GSNA, GCIH, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, GIAC, GPEN, GCED, or Security+.
- Healthcare industry experience is an asset.
