This 14-month contract supports a medical technology and medical device company. The Senior Chemist performs raw material, finished product, in-process, release, and stability testing. Responsibilities include QC method validation, equipment qualification, investigations, and GMP compliance. The position also guides junior chemists and schedules testing.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine, in-process, release, and stability testing
Write, update, and review QC SOPs and test methods
Conduct out-of-specification and deviation investigations
Maintain equipment records and support calibration activities




Mentor junior chemists and schedule QC testing
Requirements: B.Sc. in chemistry, chemical engineering, or microbiology
Minimum four years in chemistry or chemical engineering
Understanding of QC laboratory practice and GMP requirements
Experience with HPLC, GC, ICP, or similar techniques
Robust communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Use analytical expertise, GMP knowledge, and laboratory leadership to support compliant quality control testing in Mississauga.
