The Bus Driver works in Transportation under the Assistant Director of Transportation. The assignment includes morning and afternoon routes between Wickham, Boulevard Tourville, Drummondville Elementary, and Saint-Nicéphore. Duties cover passenger transport, vehicle care, inspections, records, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Drive a school bus or minibus on assigned routes
Transport people, goods, and materials safely
Keep the vehicle clean and in running condition
Complete legally required vehicle inspections
Maintain road records, logbooks, and inspection reports
Requirements: Hold an appropriate Class 1 or Class 2 driver's license
Know how to operate school buses or minibuses
Have basic heavy vehicle mechanics skills
Understand required preventive maintenance methods
Authorize reference, employment, and criminal record verifications
Bring protected driving, vehicle inspection, and maintenance skills to the regular Bus Driver assignment serving Drummondville Elementary.
