The Electrical Designer develops full-cycle electrical designs and drawings from concept through completed product. You will evaluate project requirements, design control panels, and collaborate with the Electrical Design Supervisor. The work includes researching customer specifications, testing methods, and applicable electrical codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Evaluate electrical and electromechanical project requirements
Design control panels, conduit, and system hardware
Develop electrical control systems and related products
Produce specifications, drawing packages,



and bills of materials
Test finished systems and confirm quality procedures
Requirements: Electrical Engineering degree and five years’ design experience
Control engineering, PLC design, and programming knowledge
Advanced CAD and AutoCAD Electrical experience
Proficiency with NFPA79, NEC, CEC, CSA, and UL
Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and reports
Apply electrical design, PLC knowledge, AutoCAD Electrical, and code expertise to AVL Manufacturing power solutions.
