This opportunity focuses on winter and seasonal maintenance for Alaska Highways. You will operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other required heavy equipment. The position also includes Labourer duties, physical work, and varied weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities: Operate snowplow trucks during highway maintenance
Use wheel loaders and other heavy equipment
Perform pothole repair and crack sealing
Clean bridges, signage, and highway areas
Address hazards while working outdoors
Requirements: Class 1 or Class 3 licence with air endorsement
Previous snowplow or wheel loader experience is advantageous
Transparent three-year driver’s abstract
Successful pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Ability to complete physically demanding tasks
Use your snowplow, wheel loader, and highway maintenance experience supporting safe Alaska Highway travel in Northern BC.
