Support daily living, hygiene, and mobility as a Health Care Aide at Radway Cont Care Centre in regular part-time long-term care.
As an HCA, you will support patients, residents, and clients requiring short-term assistance or ongoing support. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will follow care plans and facility policies while assisting nurses with routine care. The position works across patient needs involving nutrition, recreation, safety, communication, and wellbeing. You will work under a regulated health skilled's supervision and communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and health care professionals.
Key Responsibilities: Provide personal assistance with activities of daily living
Assist nurses with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and safety needs
Support organized activities and recreation programs




Observe and report patients' mood, health, and wellbeing
Help maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
Requirements: Active or eligible CLHA registration or practice permit
Health Care Aide education or certificate completion within eighteen months
Ability to follow patient care plans and facility policies
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary care teams
Ability to support patients, families, and caregivers
Bring patient support, routine care, and communication skills to the Health Care Aide team at Radway Cont Care Centre.
