Lead recreational programming for individuals with developmental disabilities as a Senior Recreational Support Worker at Reena. This is a temporary contract with scheduled daytime shifts.
The Senior Recreational Support Worker creates practical programming that fosters independence, social skills, and community inclusion. You will lead programs, guide Recreational Staff, coordinate daily assignments, and collaborate with families and supervisors. The role supports children, teenagers, and adults within Reena and community settings.
Key Responsibilities: Lead evening, weekend, and camp recreational programs
Delegate daily tasks and assign staff caseloads
Guide Recreational Staff based on experience and knowledge




Monitor support quality and collaborate with families
Complete incident reports, forms, and required documentation
Requirements: Enrollment in Social Services or similar studies
One to two years’ recreation experience
One to two years’ exposure to developmental disabilities
Demonstrated leadership and staff supervision skills
Valid G driver’s licence
Use recreational programming, staff leadership, and family collaboration to support independence and inclusion through Reena’s community services.
