Use Ontario retail pharmacy experience to support prescriptions, blister packs, claims, and inventory within Oak Valley Health’s outpatient pharmacy. Rotating day and evening shifts apply.
This Pharmacy Assistant role supports licensed Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists with technical medication dispensing. You will combine efficient prescription filling with data entry, cashier responsibilities, patient calls, and third party claims coordination. The position also includes equipment cleaning, front store restocking, expiry monitoring, and recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities: Fill prescriptions efficiently under pharmacy supervision
Prepare blister pack medications for patients
Process claims and maintain accurate pharmacy records
Restock, price, and monitor front store items




Arrange deliveries and receive inventory orders
Requirements: Minimum two years of Ontario retail pharmacy experience
Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician college program
Retail pharmacy oncology practice experience is an asset
Experience with third party claims and computer systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Apply retail pharmacy knowledge, dependable organization, and transparent communication while supporting safe outpatient medication services at Oak Valley Health.
