Deliver emergency care in English and French at Timmins and District Hospital, applying robust assessment and communication skills.
This Registered Nurse role supports emergency, outpatient minor surgery, fracture clinic, and rapid assessment consultation services. Care is provided to individuals of all ages and their families in the Timmins and District area. Candidates need current College of Nurses of Ontario registration and knowledge of emergency nursing and outpatient care principles.
Key Responsibilities: Assess and care for patients across all age groups
Provide outpatient minor surgery and fracture clinic services
Offer rapid assessment consultations to patients and families
Coordinate care within the multidisciplinary hospital team
Serve clients and patients in English and French
Requirements: Excellent assessment, communication, and observational skills
Ability to organize work according to changing priorities
Ability to perform the position's physical demands
Availability for day and night shift work
Ability to work in a highly paced, stressful environment
