The Youth Mental Health Community Counsellor provides counselling at Huddle NorWest, an integrated youth services site operated through NorWest Co-op Community Health. The position supports youth, co-facilitates mental health groups, and works with internal and external partners. Community outreach and interdisciplinary collaboration are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities: Provide appointment-based mental health counselling to youth
Offer some drop-in counselling support at Huddle NorWest
Co-facilitate mental health support groups




Work with internal and external community partners
Support Huddle NorWest operations
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in social work, counselling, occupational therapy, or related field
Registration with the applicable college
At least one year providing youth mental health counselling
Community development and outreach experience
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Bring youth counselling, community outreach, and communication skills to Huddle NorWest’s integrated youth services setting in Winnipeg.
