Apply precision manual machining and inspection skills with TC Energy in Airdrie, Alberta, supporting critical compression equipment repairs. This full time position combines conventional machining with mechanical repair.
As a Red Seal Certified Manual Machinist, you will repair, overhaul, inspect, and refurbish compression and rotating equipment. Your work includes operating manual machine tools, interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T; requirements, and verifying dimensional tolerances. You will collaborate with mechanical trades, inspection personnel, planners, and engineering support.
Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate conventional manual machine tools
Manufacture and restore components to OEM specifications
Measure finished work against dimensional tolerances




Support compressor and turbine equipment repair activities
Maintain organized work areas and mentor apprentices
Requirements: Red Seal Journeyperson Machinist Certification
Five years of manual machining experience
Experience with tolerances of ±0.001 inch or better
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and inspection reports
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work with rigging
