Use dental instruments and oral health expertise as a Part-time Dental Hygienist working Mondays from 12pm to 8pm. Availability for these hours is required.
This Part time Dental Hygienist examines patients, records dental decay, and supports diagnosis and treatment by dentists. The work includes medical history review, periodontal assessment, X-rays, fluorides, and instrument sterilization. You will work with dentists and dental assistants while communicating with patients.
Key Responsibilities: Clean teeth using dental instruments and remove deposits
Examine gums, lymph nodes, and signs of oral disease
Review medical histories and record dental decay
Expose and develop X-ray film for dental assessment
Apply fluorides and sterilize dental instruments
Requirements: Availability Mondays from 12pm to 8pm
Ability to use an X-ray machine
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Comfort using computers for various tasks
Knowledge of oral hygiene and dental health
Support dental diagnosis and prevention through periodontal assessment, X-rays, fluorides, and clear patient communication.
