Overview The Dishwasher/General Kitchen Assistant supports the kitchen team by keeping the kitchen clean, washing dishes and equipment, assisting with basic food prep, and helping with general catering duties. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys practical tasks, works cooperatively, and contributes to a welcoming hospitality environment. Duties
- Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized.
- Assist with basic food preparation.
- Help receive deliveries and put away stock.
- Pack and unpack catering equipment and supplies.
- Remove garbage and recycling.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Help with other kitchen and catering tasks as needed.
- Help organize supplies,



clear work surfaces, and support serving or other kitchen tasks as needed.
- Coordinate with kitchen colleagues to keep tasks moving during busy periods. Qualifications
- Kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 25 kg.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Pay: From $18.50 per hour
