Coordinate workplace safety in Calgary through compliance systems, incident investigations, and inspections for TIW Western Inc. Full time salaried work is office-based.
Reporting to the Material & Safety Manager, the Health & Safety Coordinator supports TIW Western’s manufacturing operations. The position requires safety experience in welding, heavy fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy industrial shop-floor environments. Key knowledge includes Alberta OHS legislation, safety documentation, training records, and audits.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain ISN, Comply Works, and Avetta compliance sites
Compile safety statistics and monitor related information
Review corporate safety manuals and safe work procedures
Conduct incident investigations and prepare management documentation




Coordinate annual COR audits and routine inspections
Requirements: Three to five years of dedicated safety experience required
Experience inside welding or heavy industrial shop-floor environments
Active NCSO designation or OHS certificate/diploma preferred
Knowledge of Alberta OHS Act, Regulation, and Code
Exceptional verbal communication with tradespeople and workforce
