Reporting to the Clinical Care Manager, this Hospital Social Worker provides clinical and consultative services. The position shares management of the hospital’s Social Work program and performs related duties. Core practice includes mental health, addictions, disease processes, resources, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical services to patients and families
Deliver consultative services within the hospital
Manage cases and connect clients with appropriate resources
Share management of the Social Work program




Perform related duties under the Clinical Care Manager
Requirements: Bachelor of Social Work from an accredited four-year school
Registration in a provincial College of Social Workers
Minimum three years of social work experience
At least two years with mental health or addictions clients
Understanding of hospital social work services required
Apply clinical social work, counselling, and case management expertise while supporting patients and families at Whitehorse General Hospital.
