Domtar is seeking an Industrial Instrumentation Mechanic for its Maintenance department in Port Mellon, British Columbia.
This role supports safe maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, and systems at Domtar. Candidates need Red Seal Certification and experience working in industrial settings. Relevant experience includes calibrating, installing, and maintaining wide-ranging industrial instrumentation devices. Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems, analytical instrumentation, or Kraft Pulp operations is beneficial. The position also calls for superior troubleshooting, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to working safely.
Key Responsibilities: Provide safe maintenance for facilities and equipment




Repair systems to support optimum production
Install industrial instrumentation devices
Maintain varied instrumentation equipment
Support calibration and troubleshooting activities
Requirements: Hold Red Seal Certification
Industrial setting experience
Instrumentation calibration and installation experience
Analytical instrumentation experience is beneficial
Commitment to working safely
Apply your Red Seal qualification, instrumentation skills, and troubleshooting experience within Domtar’s Port Mellon Maintenance department.
