Job Description
The incumbent is an expert clinical practitioner who integrates experience, skills and knowledge from nursing theory and principles of adult learning into the provision and management of patient care, assessment of needs, clinical coordination, clinical problem-solving and education. The Transplant Coordinator role includes 'on call' responsibilities for the purpose of coordinating the transplant process and after hours care of transplant recipients and support to health care professionals as assigned by the Manager. Minimum 5 years recent acute nursing experience Experience in critical care is an asset Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) One (1) year of transplant and organ donation experience an asset Scheduled hours of work may be reduced when a statutory holiday is recognized #
