Lead transitional housing services in Kitchener as a Program Supervisor, using staff leadership and Housing First principles to support residents.
Reporting to the Program Manager, you will oversee staff at SHIP’s 84 Frederick Street Transitional Housing Program. The position coordinates daily operations, supports employee wellbeing, and advances person-centered housing stability. You will translate strategic goals into practical action while strengthening relationships with clients, employees, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities: Delegate tasks and support staff direction and discipline
Oversee schedules, policies, procedures, and operational needs
Monitor service targets and develop annual program goals




Direct individualized housing plans addressing immediate needs
Maintain records, statistics, and client safety standards
Requirements: Post-secondary education in social or health services
One or more years supervising or managing employees
Three or more years supporting people experiencing homelessness
Solid Housing First, crisis management, and communication knowledge
Working knowledge of SDAT, HIFIS, and Microsoft Office
Bring housing leadership, staff supervision, and person-centered service skills to SHIP’s overnight transitional housing program.
