Apply kinesiology expertise in ergonomic assessment and work hardening at Lifemark’s outpatient clinic in Airdrie, Alberta.
As a Kinesiologist, you will support client healing and recovery through movement. Work collaboratively with clinicians while gaining exposure to complex occupational rehabilitation cases. The Monday to Friday, full-time schedule includes mandatory safety protocols and procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments
Design and supervise graded exercise programs
Complete biweekly functional progress reassessments
Document findings regularly in client charts
Establish and document return-to-work plans
Requirements: University degree in Kinesiology
Provincial registration as a Kinesiologist
Two or more years of experience considered an asset
Ability to perform ergonomic assessments and POETs
Ability to facilitate functional capacity evaluations
Support occupational rehabilitation through functional assessment, exercise programming, work hardening, and cooperative client care at Lifemark.
