Mental Health Therapist, Vocational (RSW, MSW, RP, CCC or Psychologist*) - Lifemark Health Group

The Mental Health Therapist or Social Worker will help the Job Seeker navigate community health and social services that can further address long-standing needs such as mental illness, addiction treatment, housing instability, food insecurity, and other biopsychosocial factors.

Responsibilities:

Provide clients with social work assessments and social work interventions in order to improve social and community functioning.

Utilize a primarily cognitive-behavioral approach to intervention based on an overall client-centered philosophy.

Provide group psychoeducational services.

Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences to discuss clients’ treatment plan and goals, progress, and any barriers to functional goals.

Deliver quality reporting and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Social Work, or a related field.

Registered and in positive standing with a relevant Alberta regulatory body* (e.g. Psychologist Registered with CAP,



Social Worker registered with ACSW, RP registered with CRPO, CCC registered with the CCPA).

Experience in trauma-informed practice, brief therapy, and motivational interviewing.

2+ years of clinical experience, specifically with persons with disabilities.

Knowledge of Alberta's mental health system and employment services.

Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.
