This Senior Pharmacy Technician provides technical and operational support under pharmacist supervision. The work includes medication histories, basic drug information, prescription intake, device guidance, injection instruction, sterile and non-sterile preparation, and product checking. You will also address insurance coordination, third-party billing issues, patient accounts, and professional relationships with healthcare partners. The position requires independent judgment and recognition of situations requiring pharmacist expertise.
Key Responsibilities: Provide medication histories, refills, and basic drug information
Receive, transfer, verify, and process prescriptions




Assist patients with devices, health aids, and injections
Resolve third-party billing and coordination-of-benefits issues
Maintain professional healthcare and payer relationships
Requirements: Pharmacy Technician Diploma and valid provincial license
One year of full-time pharmaceutical or retail pharmacy employment
Knowledge of biologics, specialty medications, and retail pharmacy practice
Strong working knowledge of Kroll
