This Design Engineer position focuses on engineering systems, machines, and devices designed for customer needs and reliable production. Responsibilities include evaluating specifications, establishing quality standards, and advising on technical and structural project aspects. Experience with machining, welding, material selection, and product testing supports the work.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure designs are safe, efficient, effective, and manufacturable
Evaluate engineering designs, schematics, and specifications
Provide technical and structural project feedback




Develop testing procedures and support quality adherence
Recommend improvements to current product designs
Requirements: Mechanical Engineering degree or technology certificate
Two or more years of direct experience
Strong mechanical background focused on machine design
Knowledge of machining methods, welding, and material selection
Practical product development and testing experience
Bring machine design, manufacturing, testing, and problem-resolution capabilities to Brandt’s customer-driven engineering projects.
