The Piping And Plumbing Draftsperson prepares project engineering and fabrication drawings for job-site installation. The work includes interpreting plans, coordinating installations, and supporting manufacturing. Knowledge of REVIT, CADMEP, SYSQUE, BIM/Autodesk, and plumbing or piping is an asset.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret plans, diagrams, specifications, and contract documents
Prepare, verify, and control installation and fabrication drawings
Coordinate installation plans and manufacturing requirements
Create detailed equipment lists for procurement and production
Provide teams with drawings, details, and manufacturer instructions
Requirements: Three to five years of experience
DEP or technical diploma in building mechanics or design
Very valuable knowledge of AutoCAD
Experience fabricating various piping systems
Driver’s license and personal vehicle
