Lead automotive quality improvement through 8D, PPAP, and root cause analysis while coaching production personnel on effective quality tools.
This Quality Engineer role manages quality incidents, containment, and customer concerns across production. You will support PFMEA, Control Plan, APQP, and recent product launch activities. The position also strengthens process control through audits, indicators, documentation, and preventive action.
Key Responsibilities: Lead root cause analysis, action planning, and containment measures
Define and release rework instructions for production
Participate in customer part rejection analysis
Support PFMEA and Control Plan development
Apply 8D and QRCM methodologies in production
Requirements: Technical high school diploma required
Minimum three years of Quality Engineering experience
Knowledge of IATF 16949 and Customer Specific Requirements
Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and 8D
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools
Use automotive quality engineering expertise to improve containment, launch readiness, customer response, and production process control.
