Smith + Andersen is seeking a Project Accountant for its Vancouver office. This accounting team member updates project information, coordinates database changes, and supports billing across fixed-fee and hourly projects. You will also prepare reports, investigate unbilled items, and communicate with internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities: Update project information in Deltek Vantagepoint
Coordinate project database updates with Operations
Process client contact and fee changes
Prepare project reports, including work in progress valuation
Research unbilled issues and pursue billing opportunities
Requirements: Two to three years of experience in accounting
Accounting or Finance post-secondary degree or diploma
Deltek Vantagepoint experience considered an asset
Project accounting experience considered an asset
Ability to review large amounts of data carefully
Bring project accounting knowledge, database accuracy, reporting skills, and Excel expertise to Smith + Andersen’s billing team.
