The successful applicant works in Headwaters Health Care Centre’s Emergency/ICU Float Pool Department. This Registered Nurse provides daily general and specialized nursing care, serving patients in Emergency or Intensive Care. The position calls for independent work under medical directives, solid organization, critical thinking, and adaptation to unexpected changes in patient acuity.
Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care in Emergency or Intensive Care
Manage daily general and specialized nursing assignments
Work independently under medical directives




Prioritize care as patient acuity changes unexpectedly
Follow approved Corporation standards of care
Requirements: Current BCLS certification
Current ACLS preferred or completion within three months
Critical Care Certificate preferred or completion within one year
Medical/Surgical or Telemetry experience required
Demonstrated critical thinking and strong organizational skills
Apply critical care judgment, organization, and flexibility while supporting patients across Headwaters Emergency and Intensive Care units.
