As an Outpatient Gastroenterology Registered Nurse, you provide comprehensive clinical care in a physician office setting. You address physical, behavioral, and cognitive needs while coordinating individualized care plans. The position includes patient education, clinical procedures, electronic medical record documentation, and follow-up coordination.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, triage, and provide ongoing outpatient patient care
Coordinate individualized plans with providers and multidisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and procedures
Administer medications, immunizations,



specimens, and point-of-care testing
Coordinate referrals, testing, surgeries, and prior authorizations
Requirements: Graduate of an approved registered nurse program
Current Current York State registered nurse licensure
Basic Life Support certification within ninety days of hire
Previous gastroenterology experience preferred
Ability to stand frequently and perform lifting, reaching, and stooping
Apply gastroenterology nursing, patient education, and care coordination skills in Arnot Health's onsite physician office setting.
