Apply Ontario SABS expertise as a remote Claims Specialist handling moderate to complex Accident Benefits claims for The Commonwell.
This Level 2 position reviews, analyzes, negotiates, and settles Accident Benefits claims. You will investigate losses, interpret policy wordings, and support effective claim resolution. The role also develops peers through technical training and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities: Review, analyze, negotiate, and settle moderate to complex claims
Investigate losses where necessary
Assign independent adjusters and relevant experts
Interpret policy wordings and Accident Benefits regulations
Provide technical training and mentorship to colleagues
Requirements: Post-secondary education and three to five years insurance experience
Expert knowledge of Ontario SABS Regulations
Working knowledge of benefit entitlement and priority issues
Robust negotiation, dispute resolution, and problem-solving skills
Working toward or completion of the CIP designation
Bring claims analysis, negotiation, regulatory knowledge, and mentorship skills to The Commonwell’s remote Accident Benefits team.
