Apply advanced TIG welding skills as a B-Pressure Welder in Calgary’s precision fabrication shop. Work permanent Monday-to-Thursday day shifts with a consistent schedule. This full time position supports high-precision welding on pressure piping and specialized industrial equipment. You will report to the Welding Supervisor and collaborate with the shop team. The work requires GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, MCAW, blueprint reading, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
Execute precision welds across pressure applications using multiple techniques Coordinate fabrication schedules with the Welding Supervisor and Lead Hand Verify work against standards, blueprints, and Welding Procedure Specifications Maintain safe, organized, hazard-free shop areas Read drawings and operate rigging equipment safely
Requirements:
Valid Alberta Journeyman Welder Trade Certificate Active B-Pressure Qualification Superior TIG proficiency, including ambidextrous capability preferred Five years of pressure piping fabrication preferred Pass the required hands-on shop weld assessment Bring specialized TIG expertise, pressure piping experience, and precise fabrication skills to this Calgary B-Pressure Welder position.
