Patient-centered Registered Nurse care at Ridge Meadows Hospital combines therapeutic communication, family collaboration, and clinical assessment in Maple Ridge, B.C.
This Fraser Health position supports patients in acute inpatient areas through direct nursing care and comprehensive care planning. You will establish therapeutic relationships, advocate for patient autonomy, and coordinate with physicians, practical nurses, educators, and other providers. BCCNM registration is required.
Key Responsibilities: Build therapeutic relationships through empathy, trust, and respect
Advocate for privacy, dignity, information access, and autonomy
Develop and update care plans with families
Teach patients and caregivers about health maintenance and self-care




Initiate referrals with the interprofessional care team
Requirements: Approved nursing education and current BCCNM registration
Ability to promote culturally sensitive, person-centered care
Ability to communicate with patients, families, and medical staff
Ability to teach essential healthcare topics
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Bring empathy, patient advocacy, education, and cooperative care planning to Registered Nurse practice at Ridge Meadows Hospital.
