About Dart Bryant LLP Dart Bryant LLP is a Calgary-based public accounting firm providing assurance, accounting, tax and advisory services to a diverse group of clients.

The remaining one-third will involve working with privately owned, owner-managed businesses, including accounting and tax compliance work. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join us and take an active role across this varied client base.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable managing their work, communicating directly with clients and helping files move forward. The position will be approximately two-thirds charity and non-profit assurance work and one-third work with owner-managed businesses, including tax compliance. Plan and complete audit and review engagements.
Identify accounting and assurance issues and work with managers and partners to resolve them.
Assist owner-managed businesses with year-end accounting and corporate tax compliance, and prepare non-profit information returns and other tax-related filings.
Build solid, long-term relationships with clients.
A Canadian CPA designation, ideally with approximately 1–3 years of post-designation experience.
Public practice accounting experience.




Experience with audit and/or review engagements.
Solid knowledge of Canadian accounting and assurance standards.
A team-oriented approach and a willingness to help others.
Accounting standards and reporting requirements applicable to non-profit organizations.
Owner-managed businesses, including year-end accounting and tax compliance.
Corporate and personal tax.
CaseWare and other common public-practice accounting software.

We take client service and quality seriously, but we do not believe that requires an overly formal workplace.
The chance to build broad public-practice experience rather than being limited to one narrow area.
Contract Details

Contract rate: $45–$65 per hour
