Support students across Edmonton Public Schools as an Educational Assistant using behavioural strategies, individualized planning, and clear communication. This is hourly, on-call work.

Supply Educational Assistants support children and youth with wide-ranging abilities and exceptionalities in complex classroom settings. You will address instructional, behavioural, and emotional needs while collaborating with teachers, coworkers, and specialized support teams.

Assignments may be long-term part time or full-time.

Key Responsibilities:
Support instructional, behavioural, and emotional student needs
Implement and review individualized program plans
Adapt classroom materials and visual tools
Use de-escalation strategies during challenging situations




Record daily progress, behaviour, and Individualized Program Plan goals

Requirements:
Educational Assistant Certificate or Child and Youth Care Diploma
Two years of related experience, preferably educational
Solid English fluency and rapid scribing ability
Proven verbal de-escalation skills
Ability to travel throughout Edmonton schools
