Prepare nourishing meals at Chartwell as a Prep Cook, using food preparation and safety skills to support residents’ dining experiences. This role supports kitchen operations. As a Prep Cook, you will help prepare meals meeting residents’ dietary needs. You will wash, chop, and prepare meats, vegetables, and salads. The work includes cleanliness, food storage, temperature checks, and special event preparation.

Requirements:
One to two years’ volume food preparation experience High school graduation or equivalent education Food Protected Level 1 certificate; Level 2 preferred Strong organization and ability to work under time constraints Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays Bring meal preparation, food safety, cleanliness, and organization skills to support Chartwell residents and the kitchen team.
