Securiguard is seeking Security Guards for its high-profile Vancouver Public Library site. The work includes patrolling, communications, incident escalation, reporting, and crime prevention. You will also liaise with emergency services and demonstrate empathy when supporting vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities: Control access throughout the Vancouver Public Library site
Patrol assigned areas and monitor CCTV systems
Communicate by radio and digital channels
Report incidents, activities, and identified safety hazards
Handle escalated situations with empathy and professionalism
Requirements: Valid BC Security License with BST
Occupational First Aid Level 2 or intermediate certification
At least three years of security industry experience
At least one year of customer service experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bring access control, incident reporting, and de-escalation skills to Securiguard’s Vancouver Public Library security team.
