Prescription verification and medication quality are central to this Registered Pharmacy Technician position with Central Pharmacy Services. Work full time in Burnaby’s technology-driven pharmacy operation.
As an RPhT, you will support protected, efficient prescription processing across the Central Pharmacy Services network. The position covers strip packaging, compliance packages, non-packaged products, corrections, and narcotic reconciliation. You will also maintain professional standards, privacy, and workflow accuracy.
Key Responsibilities: Verify medication preparation, legal compliance, and product quality
Check weekly strip packaged and compliance package medications
Review non-packaged products and complete required corrections
Reconcile narcotic and controlled medication counts accurately




Follow legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures
Requirements: College of Pharmacists registration as an RPhT in good standing
Liability insurance for legal pharmacy technician practice
Minimum one year of continuous pharmacy environment experience
Excellent organizational, multitasking, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Ability to complete work with minimal supervision
Use your Registered Pharmacy Technician credentials, verification skills, and regulatory knowledge to support safe prescription processing in Burnaby.
