Diagnose and repair tractor-trailers as a Red Seal Diesel Mechanic in Winnipeg, working Tuesday through Saturday on straight days.

This position suits a licensed Truck and Transport Mechanic or Heavy Duty Equipment Technician. You will maintain a fleet using current diagnostic equipment while completing major component repairs, preventive maintenance, and road testing. The work includes engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, and documented warranty repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose, overhaul, and repair tractors and trailers
- Complete engine, transmission, differential, and turbocharger repairs
- Service brakes, steering, wheel ends, suspension, and HVAC
- Perform and document preventive maintenance at all levels
- Road test units and write warrantable repairs

Requirements:

- Red Seal or Manitoba journeyperson certification
- Five or more years of tractor-trailer experience
- Class 3 licence with air brake endorsement
- Full set of hand tools
- Apprenticeship Manitoba certification in positive standing
