Job : The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RN/RPN) is accountable for promoting high quality care through assessing, planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating the total care needs of our patients/residents/clients (P/R/Cs). The RN/RPN is required to coordinate with all the departments within the facility, families and specialists associated with P/R/Cs care.
The RN/RPN must promote effective communication in the facility through care given and reporting mechanisms. The RN/RPN is expected to participate in staff meetings and educational opportunities to maintain their own qualified competence.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training
Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
Nursing diploma is acceptable
Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
Intermediate - Computer skills
Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
