This English-to-German Linguist and Copy Editor role serves a leading multinational company through a partner company. You will refine marketing, product, user interface, customer support, informational, and light legal content. Accuracy, cultural relevance, consistency, and audience-appropriate phrasing guide every assignment.
Key Responsibilities: Translate US English content into Germany or Switzerland German
Copy-edit German content for clarity, tone, and consistency
Perform machine translation post-editing to professional standards
Use CAT tools and the designated translation platform




Manage more than 5,000 words weekly and meet deadlines
Requirements: Native-level German proficiency for de-DE and/or de-CH
Excellent command of US English
Two years' experience plus relevant degree, or five years' experience
Experience across marketing, product, UI, support, and informational content
Solid detail, communication, time-management, and independent-working skills
Apply your German linguistics, copy-editing, CAT-tool, and localization expertise across substantial international content workloads.
