Job Description

Within a multi-site operation, the Admitting & Health Records Clerk performs admitting, switchboard, transcription, records processing, cashier and reception duties as well as a variety of clerical duties.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And Experience Grade 12, graduation from an approved program in medical transcription and one year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills And Abilities Keyboard at 60 wpm
Operate related equipment
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Deal with others effectively
Knowledge of medical terminology
Physically carry out the duties of the position
