Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will manage sourcing across diverse custom manufacturing projects. The work includes raw materials, fabricated components, competitive quotes, supplier negotiations, purchase orders, and production planning. You will balance cost, quality, delivery, and competing project requirements while collaborating with Project Management, Cost Estimation, Account Management, and Production.

Key Responsibilities
Source raw materials and fabricated components across custom projects Obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and award supplier business Manage purchase orders, supplier commitments,



and delivery schedules Monitor material availability against production requirements Resolve supply issues affecting budgets, quality, and timelines

Requirements:
Experience sourcing materials or products in project-based manufacturing Knowledge of metal fabrication or related manufacturing environments Experience coordinating purchasing with production schedules Proficiency in Excel and ERP or MRP systems Organization, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills Apply strategic sourcing, supplier management, and production planning expertise as a hybrid manufacturing Buyer in Scarborough.
