Safety equipment service and troubleshooting define this full time Service Technician position in Grande Prairie, Alberta, supporting in house and mobile customer needs. Reporting to the Business Centre's Manager, the Service Technician completes required services on safety related equipment. Duties include SCBA and gas detection certification service and repairs, breathing air compressor maintenance and recertification, Quantitative Fit testing, and fall arrest equipment inspection and certification.

Key Responsibilities
Manage, test, repair, and recertify customer owned equipment Perform services according to specifications and local standards Arrange customer authorization for work orders Maintain mobile unit stock levels and accurate service records Update customer contacts and required service schedules

Requirements:
Skilled, courteous demeanor and strong attention to detail Troubleshooting and excellent organizational skills Fluent spoken, read, and written English Valid Class 5 driver's license Ability to periodically lift up to 50 pounds Apply your troubleshooting, certification, and equipment maintenance skills as a Grande Prairie Service Technician supporting customer safety.
