The UPS Store Associate plays a key role in providing exceptional customer service and performing a variety of tasks to support the smooth operation of a UPS Store. The ideal candidate is a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a quick-paced setting and interacting with customers.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service :
Greet customers warmly and provide skilled assistance.
Answer questions regarding store services, pricing, and package tracking.
Help customers choose the best shipping options based on their needs.
Shipping and Packaging :
Process shipments using store software and ensure accurate labeling.
Pack items securely to ensure safe delivery, using proper packaging techniques and materials.
Weigh, measure, and calculate shipping costs.
Retail Sales :
Promote and sell UPS Store products and services (e.g., packing supplies, printing services).
Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle customer transactions efficiently.
Administrative Tasks :
Assist with photocopying, scanning, faxing, and other office services.
Maintain inventory of store supplies and restock as needed.
Keep the store clean,



organized, and presentable.
Other Duties :
Assist with mailbox rentals and mail handling, including sorting and forwarding mail.
Support promotional and marketing initiatives as directed by the store manager.
Address and resolve customer complaints or escalate them to management when necessary.

Qualifications
Education & Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Previous retail, customer service, or shipping experience (preferred).
Skills :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Point-of-Sale systems).
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments and transactions.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

4 hour shift
Day shift

Work days:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
