Providence Health Care is hiring casual Housekeeping Aides for Environmental Services. Under supervision, you will clean healthcare areas, support infection prevention, protect comfort and dignity, and help maintain operational efficiency. Locations include St. Vincent Langara, Brock Fahrni, and Youville.
Key Responsibilities: Clean and disinfect patient, operating, and emergency rooms
Sanitize medical equipment and other high-touch surfaces
Restock paper towels, soap, lotion, and sanitizer
Complete discharge cleaning and transport soiled linens
Report hazards and equipment issues to supervisors
Requirements: Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Deal effectively with other people
Organize work and operate related equipment
Physical ability to perform position duties
Bring healthcare cleaning, organization, and communication abilities to Providence Health Care’s casual Environmental Services team.
