This Licensed Practical Nurse role supports residents through skilled nursing care, treatment plans, and comfort-focused service. You will assess complex needs, lead Health Care Aides, and collaborate with families and external care providers.
Key Responsibilities: Provide skilled nursing care and complete resident treatments
Monitor vital signs and complex health needs
Help residents and families understand care procedures
Lead Health Care Aides in high-quality care delivery
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements: Diploma from a recognized Licensed Practical Nurse program
Unrestricted active registration with CLHA
Current CPR/BCLS certification for healthcare providers
Seniors care or gerontology experience considered an asset
Compassionate, skilled presence with sound judgment
