Vernon & District Home Support is seeking an experienced Community Health Worker for a 0.98 permanent part time opportunity. Working alongside Nurses and LPNs, you will help clients maintain independence at home. Duties include household support, meal preparation, transfers, personal care, client observation, and delegated tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Maintain safe, healthy home environments through household duties
- Prepare meals following designated client plans
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers
- Report changes in client behaviour and condition

Requirements:

- Experience as a Community Health Worker
- Grade 12 education
- Recognized care aide or home support worker program completion
- BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker registry
- Current valid BC driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
