This Auxiliary / Casual Fleet Services position serves Fleet Operations Services at Vancouver locations. Duties include delivering police vehicles for repairs, maintaining cleanliness, tracking equipment, and supporting compound operations. The work requires secure driving, practical vehicle care, and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver police vehicles to and from repair shops
Change or repair flat tires and jump-start vehicles
Clean vehicles and properly store removed items or evidence
Track equipment, vehicles, issues, complaints, and servicing needs
Secure compounds,



direct the public, and monitor computerized systems
Requirements: Valid Class 5 B.C. driver’s licence
Grade 12 and First Aid certificate
Extensive passenger vehicle operating experience in garages or parking lots
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Vancouver geography, and VPD locations
Ability to carry equipment weighing 20 or more kilograms
Support Vancouver Police Department fleet operations through safe driving, vehicle care, equipment tracking, security, and clerical accuracy.
