Support Calgary Co-op members as a Retail Front End Service Clerk focused on merchandise care, cleanliness, and productive service. Maintain an organized storefront and positive customer relations.
This position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor or Front End Manager and performs comprehensive front-end service functions. Responsibilities include handling customer concerns, minimizing merchandise damage, cleaning spills and fixtures, maintaining carts, and organizing deliveries. The work follows Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety, environmental, and Company policies.
Key Responsibilities: Provide friendly responses to customer questions and complaints
Handle merchandise to protect quality and minimize markdowns
Clean spills, fixtures, cardboard, debris, and garbage




Set up storefronts, fill supplies, and clean mats
Prepare deliveries and provide wrapping and carryout service
Requirements: Grade 9 or acceptable combination of education and experience
Fluent English and CLBA assessment score of 5 or higher
Previous retail or related experience is an asset
Ability to maintain positive customer relations
Ability to follow established safety and environmental policies
Use your retail experience, merchandise care, and customer service skills to maintain Calgary Co-op’s safe, organized front end.
